I am currently in search of a new job, Pretty sure I am about to lose my current position. I have been in the same field for 10 years, but I have worked for 6 different companies. Each position has somehow been a promotion, I always know when I am about to lose a job and so far have been able to increase my pay with each change.

I was just diagonosed with ADHD about 6 mths ago and I know that I need to make a career change. I have marketing, sales, administrative, and extensive knowledge of MS office. Anyone have suggestions on how to write a resume that will not show the job changes?

Six jobs in 10years is hardly excessive. I wouldn't try and disguise your job changes, but rather promote them as after all, each new position was in a way a promotion.

If people ask, say you left the jobs because you felt you were no longer making improvements at the companies, so you looked for more challenges.

Taylor your resume to show how the companies you worked for were better off from your employment.

The six jobs are only the ones in the same field, I guess I should have stated that. If I put them all on paper it would be more like 20, some just part time jobs or temporary positions in between. I often quit jobs, before I get fired just knowing that it is coming.

I am aware of this now and I want a less demanding position with more structure. Right now I have a home office and set my own appts. Not a good fit for me right now.

Thanks for your help.
