I decided to stop taking strattera cold turkey about a week ago. I was on it for about 2 and half months and ended at a dosage of 45mg. I decided to stop for several reasons, including the unwanted side effects I was having.
Unfortunately, since I've stopped taking it I've been experiencing some even worse side effects. I have spells of extreme irritability, moodiness, saddness, and just feeling "out of it" and fuzzy in general. I've had trouble sleeping because of this and I even wake up very upset sometimes. I've found these side effects to happen mostly towards the end of the day. Everything begins to upset me and I have trouble feeling happy or enjoying anything or just being myself.
I'm wondering if anyone knows if side effects are normal when stopping strattera. I've read different things, some saying its ok to quit cold turkey, some saying its not. Also some saying withdrawal symptoms of strattera may last for over a week, and otherse saying there should be no symptoms at all.
