I started working at a resturant in a golf resort about 3 months ago and i really liked it. I have always had a hard time waking up in the morning and after being written up3 times in 1 month my manager fired me yesterday morning. I have a hard time merging into society. The one good thing i had going for me was my job. I dont even have a place to live im staying with a friend untill i find something....hard to do with out a job. so tomorrow im back out looking for a job. My joal is to have my own place, a job, and go to school to get my degree. am i ever going to get there!!! ahhhh! i just want to be a grown up like all my friends.

In reality I am pretty tired - I am guessing you are equating not having a job with not being grown up?

i am always hanging on by a last thread in every job i go into.

as for waking up, i have the same problem.

i would try and find yourself a job which you can work in the afternoon, so you can go bed late and not worry, and wake up at 12pm and have a few hours to chill before work..

i used to do a 2pm-8pm shift monday - friday. it was great. i was never late.

i now do a 9-5 job and it kills me to get up, my mum has to shout me up about 20 times before i actually get out of bed..

I too, am sorry that you lost your job. Alanna has some great suggestions.

Also, are you on any kind of a treatment program? Meds, excercise, etc?

i take adderall....im a great employee once i get to work its just getting there thats hard for me. I looked into a resturant right down the street today. Im thinking about being a nany, i saw an add on craigs list....Thanks for the support ill keep u updated!
