I've been doing a lot of research on the Adderall controversy and it keps getting stranger.

I'm on the "Barr Brand Adderall." 15 mg, orange oval tablet. Funny thing is, on the product page on Barr's website, there's no mention of Adderall. Only their generic "Amphetamine Salts."

Here's my experience: When Adderall was manuf by Shire, all was right with the world! i've been on Barr "brand" the past fewyears. Its just NOT the same. i get super irritated right after i take it.At times, my sex drive is non-existant. i crash mid-day with no energy. i tried XR for a bit but hated it, so i went back to Barr Brand Adderall.

There are SO many differing opinions ... however, there has not been a poll taken in quite some time. Please will you read it above (or find it posted on 6-16-08) and participate? The more people who do, the clearer the picture will hopefully become on which manuf of Adderall/Amph Salts (and Dextra) is preferred over others.

i would also love to hear your stories about your experiences with these meds. Please write back with details.

I was going suggest AdderallXL, what I take, 50mg, a day. But you said you tried it and "hated it." Shire is the manufacturer I like for this certain drug. Good luck.

I honestly haven't noticed a difference between Barr and Mallinckrodt.

none of those. i prefer either sandoz labs or the brand name, althought lately the brand name has been disappointing me.
