Welcome to the ADD world buddy. Advice is either to take meds, go on a natural ammino type of plan(I do this), get a coach, or go see a Psychologist. A combination of these would be the best. Read all the ADD(adult) books out there.

Isn't nice to know you are not the only one! My advice is to look for another postion. I have been trying my current position for a year. Not sure how I have lasted this long. For me the meds are not helping. I think you are bored with your new position and sometimes as hard as it is to accept maybe you made the wrong choice by accepting it. For those of us with ADD?HD we REALLY have to enjoy our work (at least I do). Not enjoying it is why for the last 15 years I have changed jobs every 1-2 years. Just diag in Oct, but WOW does it all make sense now!!

Are you board over whelmed or simply not feeling pressured enough????

I have a hard time with both at life in general. If it is some thing I should be doing then it seems to be the last thing I am interested in doing. . .I don't want to garden on the weekend when I should be doing it noooo I want to garden when I am supposed to be working - some times it is a matter of setting up time frames for you to do work specific task.
Cut and dry come hell or high water I go back out to work at 6:30 even if I am in mid-post. ..I specify a lunch time and I quit messing around on the computer after a specific time. Now my biggie is bed time I suck at bed time but making a structure for how I utilize my time during my work day and sticking to it helps me be more productive.
hi ho hi ho back to work I go - see yall around 8:00pm

Yup, me too... have a hard time disciplining myself - even at home... Yet, when I finally get a task completed (anywhere), It makes me feel better, it's hard to get to the point to start a certain task, though.

Can't unless I take stimulant such as caffeine / ephedra type stacks and /or ADHD meds. Unfortunately, any time I do slack off -- it becomes like an avalanch and I end up getting fired. Most of my problems are due to errors of omission -- not seeing or 'catching' something I should -- this is in accounting. The only way to concentrate for any period of time is with these OTC supplements I describe above.
