It seems like the ideal job for an ADDer.. following trends in the stock, futures, foreign exchange, etc. markets to make money. You can even set your own schedule if you trade the 24-hr Forex markets.

Problem is, ADDers can be impulsive and this can cause them to potentially lose all of their capital in a flash. This may discourage a lot of ppl with ADD to enter this line of work. What do you think?

Making money in the market is hard enough and impulsive does not help. If you read the statistics, most ALL day traders loose money. There is no way to compete with the market makers who have millions behind them Besides the market is very volatile now.

Yes I make some money in the market, but it is my play money, OK that was not the correct term. it is money we invested in the market and it has grown, we periodically pull a set amount out and put it into something more conservative.

If "the newly elected president " starts messing with the capital gains taxes look for a big exodus from stocks to more traditional savings.

Personally, if ya want to get into the market, take a predetermined amount and invest it. But only put as much in the market as you can loose as its like going to Vegas and throwing craps
