Does anyone feel they just have to get a break from there meds after a few weeks, then start up again, doing this in a cycle?

I've never tried meds, myself, but my step-sister does this all the time. It causes a lot of fights between her and her mom & my dad. She says the pills make her feel like a zombie, they say they can't control her when she's off her meds. I'm just glad she's 17 and will probably be moving out soon - I don't think this cycle of meds / no meds / big fight / assign blame / more meds is doing her much good.

I haven't had a shouting match with my dad in 19 years (when I was 12 years old). They have one every day.

I usually take one or two days off on the weekend or simply take small doses. Depends on what's going on.

yep..weekends and sometimes during the week

NEVER take it on weekend...I like the RAW me! although i still feel it working!
