i was recently diagnosed with ADD inattentive... my problem was misdiagnosed for a while because i was the opposite of hyperactivity.
for the past couple years i have progressively gotten more sluggish, less
energy and my brain just didnt seem to work well (processing wise). the funny thing is the reason i first tried stimulants. i had a really bad cold so i took some dayquil. something in it has a stimulant effect and i felt great that day and my mind seemed more alert and working better. i tried stimulants, but the adderall was too low dose (didnt know that then). Adderall XR gave little to no help. Adderall IR worked 10x better for me now. it was interesting to learn also that for a good percentage of people with ADD inattentive, methylphenidate does not work well. i used concerta and some other MPH and i didnt feel different at all.
Adderall helpes me feel more energized and alive... glad i found it :D
