So I've strated Strattera (again.) My doctor started me on 25mg; soon I'll move to 40mg.

This is day one. I keep getting wave after wave of tingles all over my body. They are not debilitating; in fact, they are almost euphoric.

I'm not particularly concerned about this; certainly side effects at the onset of any medication are normal.

However, I would like to know what actually is happening to cause these tingles. I assume it might have something to do with the norepinepherine, or however you spell it.

1) Have any of you experienced this? (I assume it will pass...)

2) Do any of you know what is going on physiologically with this side effect? (It's really just a curiosity...)

Day two... and the waves are already less pronounced... What I expected...

Still curious if y'all know the physiological response actually is...

the tingles are normal after about 7months they go away. I kind of miss them though

7 months? that's really long...
