Do any of you have experience with taking medication while playing sports?
Some parents/people don't take them on game days, it gives them the energy.
Some parents/people would not think about playing without them because if they miss a dose, they are sluggish.
What has been your experience?

Great question. I'm interested in seeing answers. I am 46 and past the age of competitive official sports, though I do run in 5k races, etc.
I'm thinking this would have to be trial and error for the individual in question, but I think I would take the meds on game days. I'm thinking to do otherwise might be overthinking things.
I remember when I played basketball in high schoool, game days could be very pressured. And my worst performances came when I got filled with anxiety and lost control of my thoughts and feelings. So I'm thinking that it's not just the physical performance that's at issue. It's the mental mindset leading up to the games and during the games.
So looking back, imagining I had been diagnosed earlier, I would probably take the meds on game days. That's just me.
