I go to my psychiatrist on Thursday to have her get a check up on how my Ritalin's been doing.

In the beginning, I was on Adderall. I was getting a lot of Anxiety from Adderall and it the ER was lasting maybe a maximum of 5 hours tops. Concerta ER was better and didn't cause me any problems, but again, I got around 6 hours or so of help from it. So, she put me on Ritalin 30mgs 2x a day (60 mgs total) and it's been great, but sometimes I forget to take it on time and have to skip it because it'll be to late to take it without not being able to get to bed at night.

So, my question I guess is, how different is Vyvanse from Adderall? If I had Anxiety from Adderall (but not Ritalin) would Vyvanse possible do the same thing since they're in the same class of drugs?

Welcome aboard!

It's hard to say. Vyvanse, when all is said and done (meaning you've swallowed it) gets converted to dextroamphatine (aka. Dexedrine). This amphetamine is associated with more mental benefits and less side effects than Adderall.

Adderall is also known by the generic name, mixed amphetamine salts which contain different isomers of dextroamphetamine and levoamphetamine. The 'levo' portion is what makes Adderall either a 'love it' or 'hate it' medication due to potential side effects.
