Hey folks. I had been told by a social worker 5 years ago that he thought I had add. I thought he was crazy. I had later (a couple of years ago) contemplated checking in with my family GP for a general exam and asking him about the add thing. Except that I put it off now for a couple of years. My wife will soon start taking celexa for anxiety/depression, and I'm thinking I may actually make the call to set up an appointment with the GP. I read the online inventories about add, and my wife says, "that's you!"
6 years ago, I was on zoloft, but I had the problem with the whole ordeal about delayed/no ejaculation (riding on the train, but unable to get off the train). ThenI decided to get off the zoloft, so I called my psychiatrist, who incidently was difficult to get a hold of) I slowly tapered off over a month, but it was awful. Feeling like I was getting mild electric shocks up my legs, panicky, generally felt not so great coming off that stuff.
So now I am hesitant about starting any new drug therapies due to the above reactions I had with zoloft...Not to mention my psychiatrist would take about 3-4 days to return my calls regarding medications.
But anyway, I thought I'd say hello to everyone.
