Okay, I don't know if anyone else does this, hence I'm posting to find out!

Sometimes when I don't have any socks on, I'll get a pair out of the draw, then put it on my lap and start doing something on the computer, or go walk off somewhere. It can be like an hour or so before I actually put them on! OR, I just don't put them on at all and have some fresh socks lying about for X amount of time.

The same seems to apply to taking them off. I'm writing this now because I just noticed I've taken one sock off like 30 minutes ago and haven't gotten around to taking the 2nd one off 'cause I'm too busy. Haha.

LMAO - it's not just me? I find my socks in the strangest places when i set them down somewhere between the dresser and my feet. Or i give up and go get a new pair and then find my original pair in the chair i use when i put my shoes on.:D

I can't stand socks.... I'm barefooted most of the year.. unless I have to go to the store.

I have to laugh, because you are not the only one who does this. Strangely, this affects the women in my house more than the men. Perhaps it is because the men/boys tend to wear boots - which they can not wear comfortably without socks...

Interesting topic.

LOL I avoid this problem by not wearing socks most of the time. I'm almost always in flip flops or slip-ons. It's not so much how time-consuming it is to put on socks as it is the fact that I always lose them.
The socks I do have always have some kind of design on them so that they'll be harder to lose :D

awe. i don't have any sock problems. :(

except that i don't care if they match. or if they're dirty, usually.

and i refuse to wear them at home because they just cause accidents. like slipping down carpeted stairs. ouch.

haha! i don't worry about matching either, two darks is close enough, patterns be damned. If someone at the office commented, i would say "Matching socks is a waste of time, time is money, therefore i save money and can pass those savings on to our customers."

I think they knew i was kidding (it takes a few months for people to get my sense of humor sometimes)

In order to put on the socks, first you have to find the clean laundry basket and find two that match, if they're not there, then you have to go to the laundry room and look in the dryer, none there, go look in the hubby's drawer and wear monster sized socks.

If I were rich I would have bags and bags of brand new socks. Everyday I just put on a brand new pair to have that new sock feel everyday. With the used ones I will wash them and then either have my house keeper make tons of sock monkeys out of them or give them to homeless people.

It usually takes me about 15 seconds I would guess to put on socks.

Putting them on of taking them off is no problem for me. Leaving the all over the house however causes my wife much stress.:p
