I'm 61.. Been diagnosed for MS 38 years ago. BipolarII 20 years ago and ADHD this spring.. Quite a combo..

I tried concerta but too many tics so I've started strattera this week. I'm constipated. My sleep is very light but for some reason I seem to wake up less tired.

Do all symptoms disappear with time..especialy constipation?

I've read Dr.Hallderman's blog. He says tht it helps for anxiety an depression

I'm sorry to say i have had the same side effect, constipation and it still hasn't gone after more than 2 months, i had to get something to help.

Some side effects disappear and then you get some new ones lol
Sorry if i didn't help.

In my case, the side effects have dissipated with time. This is a relief because of the fact that I used to take this medication and I would feel extremely tired. The constipation does go away with time so stick with it! I had the same side effect. What really helped was some Metamucil or other form of fiber supplementation. The light sleep may have to do with what time you are taking your medication. I have light sleep if I take my Strattera at night.

I started taking magnesium and that seems to have helped with the constipation
