Started 12 days ago..Now at 100 mgs.

Yesterday was sweating and very tired.. Last night an small incident occured and I got really frustrated and this morning I'm way down, negative ..tearfull etc..very scary..

I heard some saying that it will pass but just wanted tocheck.

When I was younger my mood swings used to frighten me and this just made them worse. Now older and I hope wiser I make up my mind to stay calm. Most of the time I can just ‘ride it out’. Knowing what is happening and staying calm can help a whole lot. But if you should become overwhelmed by them you should consult your doctor as soon as you can.

Yes this is a side effect of Strattera. Pretty much all of the ADD medications out there have a similar list of side effects. I have the same issue with Ritalin, and combined with normally elevated anxiety makes it so much worse.

Also, as BR said. Anxiety/worry is cumulative and will make it worse.

It may not hurt to report this type of thing to the doctor, my sister is bipolar 2, like your signature says and she gets suicidal sometimes when she has those types of issues.

Go and see your doctor. These mood swings caused by Strattera really need to be assessed by a professional.
