I don't understand this. I have never been dx as dyslexic and have not had any problems with this as a child. Now I just have a tiny bit of a dyslexia like problem:

mixing up the letter R with the number 4 (To me a 4 looks a lot like a backwards R without the diagonal leg extending from it; 4R.)
mixing up Ws and Ms (I went searching for a movie at the store that started with an M and realized I was in the W section. The thing is, I didn't ever mix these up until my dyslexic boss told me that he did.)
reading the word "was" as the word "saw" (This only happened once!)

I have always been a good reader and a good speller, and all of those things. It just seems strange to me. Can anyone relate?

Actually I was just looking into this. I've always been a pretty good reader -- speed reading that is. Can't read textbooks or slowly if my life depended on it.

But... I mix up letters all the time. And I substitute letters for numbers and vice versa all the time.

It's really strange...
