Hey friends,
I am just curious what others experience with concerta and how it has helped with thier ADHD. I am not talking with negitive side effects but possitive effects.
This is my non medical description, so please understand this is how it feels.
I find concerta slow downs my mind and gives me a pause. Let me explain. Before I had no pause, if I was interupted by mind would just go BING and change what I was focusing on, totally forgetting what I was working on. So the whole day I would go BING BING BING BING feeling like a ping pong ball getting nothing done.
Now I get a second to pause and think, do I want to get distracted on this new thing or do I want to finish up with what I am doing. If I do change my attention I take a moment to remember where I was and what I was doing before refocusing. Then it is easier to go back to, and easier to remember.
Love that pause.
