OK, This is just too easy...but really good with some nice steaks!

Clean and cut up (or not) however many mushrooms you want to cook.
Heat up a frying pan on medium.
Pour in some Italian salad dressing, about a quarter inch deep or so. (NOT the fat free kind.)
Sauté until the mushrooms are tender- 5-10 minutes.
Sometimes I put a little butter in when they are about halfway done.
