Has anyone tried taking Concerta AND Wellbutrin at the same time? Reason I ask is cuz I'm theorizing a synergistic effect between the two. I'd much rather use Wellbutrin to potentiate the effects of my Concerta before increasing the dosage. (I'm currently at 36 mg). Thanks!

I'm currently on Wellbutrin XL 450 mg a day and Concerta 18 mg a day and sometimes 36mg a day.

I can't speak to the synergy thing. I do find the Concerta helpful. At first, it sent me to the bathroom a lot at night (doesn't do that really anymore). It also increased my hyperfocus and I was struggling to tear myself away from the internet.

But I just started making an effort to reduce time on the internet and it is working and I definitely have good focus with these two. I was on Wellbutrin for many months before I got the Concerta added.

I'm not sure if this helps or not. I definitely have found that it takes time for my body to adjust to the side effects and also for me to figure out, oh, the med is helping with X, but with Y, i'm going to need ole-fashioned willpower, etc.
