I was on Vyvanse for a month and it worked so well for me. Then I realized that my insurance wouldn't pay for any add medication so I switched to concerta because I got a $50 off coupon. Oh my gosh, I am so tired! I mean, I feel like a zombie, I'm just dazed. Has anyone else dealt with this? I am going to ask my Dr. to get me back on Vyvanse next month (changed insurance policies) so that's great but I just don't know if I can make it til then with this groggy feeling all the time! Any advise?

your brain may not be getting enough stimulation, low doses of stimulants can do that.

Do you drink enough water? Eat enough food?

Concerta will make you VERY thirsty until you get used to it... and it will also kill your appetite until you get used to it. When I first started on it, I was drinking water all the time and I couldn't eat. I lost 10 pounds in a few weeks from not eating. Not eating is bad because you won't get enough calories and nutrients required to have a fully functioning brain.
