Ok so I'm 2.5 weeks in on Strattera 10mg and since my doctor says my body metabolizes it slow, we're sticking with the low dosage for now. Now does anyone else have the problem of Strattera only kicking in 1-3 hours after taking it? It kinda sucks but then again I'm only 2.5 weeks in. I'd appreciate any thoughts.

strattera is a medication like anti-depressants (which take 6-8 weeks to see results) It takes time for it to build up in your body and be at the optimal level. I don't think it takes 6-8 weeks like anti-depressants, but it takes several weeks.

It takes about 3 weeks on the average for Strattera

I'm on 40 mg and it kicks in in under an hour sometimes.
