If you are like me, you like a wide variety of music. I guess it is just more stimulation. So, what do you listen to? What is on your ipod, cd player, etc?

Maybe we can find something new to listen to from other people's recommendations.

I'll kick things off I guess.

I like a wide variety, from rap and pop to rock and punk. Anyway, here is some music on my playlist:

Beck - E-pro
Against Me - Thrash Unreal
Lupe Fiasco - Superstar
Saul Williams - List of Demands
Rise Against - Behind Closed Doors
Motion City Soundtrack - Capital H
Atmosphere - The Key To Life
Rise Against - Survive
Audioslave - Revelations
Alicia Keys - Karma
Chevelle - The Clincher
Bullet For My Valentine - Tears Don't Fall
Del Tha Funkee Homosapien - Catch A Bad One
Flyleaf - Fully Alive
Garbage - Push It
Lostprophets - Rooftops
Modest Mouse - Float On
Ra - Do You Call My Name
Marvelous 3 - Freak of the Week
Stroke 9 - Kick Some *****
The Exies - Ugly
The Exies - What You Deserve
Three Days Grace - Animal I Have Become
Three Days Grace - Just Like You

That is just a small sampling of one of my playlists. What get's you ready to work out?

Don't laugh, 'k?

Travelling Wilburys
The Nylons
Hooked on Classics
Hooked on Baroque

Set to shuffle...believe it or not, those are awesome workout tunes (well, the beat is what makes them awesome I guess). I think I've graduated from the C25K podcasts and will be using a stopwatch from here on out simply because I got way tired of the techno music - but thank you Robert Ullrey, without you I couldn't have done it!

Don't worry Dorie, I won't laugh. Music is a matter of personal taste, we all have different tastes in food, and the same with music. What one person loves, another hates. It comes with the territory.

I've been doing workouts kind of along with you guys from that thread but I haven't piped up yet...I'm scared I'll quit before anyone else hahaha

I listen to this playlist:

aphex twin: windowlicker
amon tobin: verbal remix waldorf salad
kmfdm: godlike
bowie: hallo spaceboy
ministry: breathe
tchkung! :smash things up
daft punk: harder better faster stronger
crass: shaved women
butthole surfers: dum dum
modest mouse: cowboy dan
peter gabriel: big time
swans: black eyed dog
einsturzende neubauten: salamandrina
chemical brothers: where do I begin

takes me fromm easy, to super fast and aggressive, back to easy again
usually I only work out for twenty minutes on the treadmill and lifting weights. So I tend to skip at least one or two of the faster songs (depending on what mood I am in)

also I am not a big fan of techno, but there's one or two in there. I listen to classical music while I work, so it tends to give me physical inertia to hear it...
