I'm currently on 25mg, instructed to move up to 40mg in two weeks. I'm on a free one month trial, and am new to medication and 'ADD' in general. The start of a wild ride!

Day 1: Took it at roughly 10:30 AM on no food.

Sour stomach from drinking the night before did not mix well with the nausea, I did vomit a little. Had hot and cold flashes mixed with a nice feeling of 'body euphoria', or tingling. Was tired all day, but I didn't get much sleep the night before.

That night sleep was very light and I had a hard time falling asleep.

No positive effects noticed yet, except noticed I had read 4 pages of a thread without skimming.

Day 2 (today): Took it at roughly 10:30 AM with some bacon and bread.

No nausea. Some uncomfortable stomach feelings around 3, that went away pretty fast. Tingly sensations here and there. Some hot and cold flashes.

Bending over and then getting back up quickly does not feel too good, but discomfort faded within 5 minutes.

Still no positive effects noticed. Still daydreaming, zoning out, pacing around, being incredibly bored, restless, and the usual.

So far my experience hasn't been too bad. I'm trying to stay optimistic. Will update as time goes on, especially any new side effects and any progress.

Sounds like good progress.

Are you planning to go higher than 40mg? What's your body weight?

What happens when the free trial runs out is .. up in the air. It depends if it works, and on certain money situations. I'm not sure how expensive Strattera is, but I have very little income. I was quite let down when the doctor wouldn't just let me try dexedrine. I know it's pretty potent and maybe not the best to start on, but it's the cheapest for those with no medical insurance.

I'm around 130lbs and 5'7"-5'8". I probably don't metabolize as fast as I should, due to unhealthy eating patterns and lack of consistant exercise.

I'm sure I'd be willing to move up past 40mg should I feel more progress.

Today I laid down to take a nap, and for the first time in, say, forever ... I didn't have to toss and turn. I was awake for quite a bit, but comfortable and perfectly happy to stay laying on one side. Unbelievable LOL. I wonder if it'll be the same tonight.

Still no noticeable progress elsewhere.

On day 5, and haven't noticed any significant results yet.

My sleep isn't so light anymore, thank god lol. And I'm not so restless in bed, which is great.

Aside from that, I've noticed no improvement elsewhere.

What I'm looking for (or keeping an eye on) is:

Improvements in speech. (I'm quite often tongue twisted or not saying things the way I intend to.) (Not Improved.)
Improvements in attention span/focus/concentration/patience. (Not Improved.)
Improvements in day dreaming and zoning out. (Not Improved.)
Improvements in restlessness during the day. (Not Improved. Still pacing, fidgetting, etc.)
Improvements in restlessness during bed time. (Improved!)
Improvements in mood swings. (Not Improved.)
Improvements in motivation and drive. (Not Improved.)

Still taking it between 10 and 11 AM. Without food I get nausea, with food this is lessened greatly. There have been moments of mental discomfort, I don't know how else to explain it. Just not feeling well, I suppose. That usually goes away fairly quickly. The tingles are there a bit, still, especially when hit with gusts of wind. That part is nice and feels good.

Still trying to stay patient, which is hard for an ADDer! Lol. Strattera is quite cruel when it comes to waiting. :(

By the way, perscriptions for 30 capsules of strattera runs about $45 @ Target Pharmacy! Hope that helps!:D
