I've been on Concerta for a little while now, and my doc increased my dosage about a month ago but I feel like it's still not helping me at all. A friend of mine is on Adderall, and she said it really helps her with her ADD. Anyone switched from Concerta to Adderall, or vise vera? I am just curious of your opinons on how well Adderall works.
Thanks!
I started on Concerta about six months ago, thought it worked great for about a month or two then my hair started falling out like crazy and I started having bad crying jags. Dr added zoloft we took a wait and see for a few more weeks on the concerta. Hair thing was making me crazy.
Dr. switched me to adderall. I'm really not too happy with the current situation.
I felt like the concerta really worked for attention, motivation issues, but the side effects were intolerable. The zoloft worked on the crying and some anxiety issues.
I'm not happy with the adderall. I find myself hyperfocusing on the wrong stuff. Stuck on the computer for hours, being really obsessive about things. At last appointment I brought this up, but did not feel that doc really believed or maybe understood what I was trying to describe.
Having my own crisis at the moment, because I have let the zoloft perscription run out and have not made it to the pharmacy in a few days to pick up new one, and am back to the extreme crying jags.
