Okay so ive been trying 10 mg of Adderall for about a (month and a half) consistent with 10 mg "3" times a day lol, and I feel exactly like I did before I started taking it? Doctor is a bum and doesn't like stims and won't let me up my dosage. For now im just going to stop the meds altogether. I was even taking Welbutrin with it and that is suppose to also work on dopamine .... anyone else have this effect and tried something else and have it work at all?

Some people don't get much effect, but you'll probably get side effects if you go up above that too much so if you get nothing now there's no point to increase the dose probably.

The correct dosage that will work for you has many factors. 10mg didn't even work for my 10 year old son. I am not sure why your doctor won't up the dosage, it is common for these types of meds to have a starting point and then up them until you find the correct dosage.

Unfortunately, you are taking 10mg 3 times a day, which doesn't even make much sense. You should not be taken this stuff in the evening at all.

I would talk to your doctor about moving you to 15mg in the morning and then 15 in the afternoon. I know regular Adderall was horrible for all three of my kids but the Adderall XR is wonderful in comparison. The dosage in this house runs from 20-30 once in the morning.

I would ask your doctor why he won't up it and get a clear answer. If the answer doesn't make sense, find a new doctor. Many doctors are not well qualified in this arena.
