Hello all,

I am an undergraduate student at NYU. I am hoping to get involved with some neuroscientific research on ADHD this fall as a volunteer research assistant or intern.

Unfortunately, the lab at my school does not have room to accommodate another intern for the fall. I will be looking at Mt. Sinai, Columbia, and other institutions in the area, but I am just throwing this out there to see if anyone happens to have a good lead or tip regarding a relevant lab or investigator in NYC that I might try to contact.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated,

Thanks!

So you're saying that the lab at NYU doesn't have any room? That's a shame, as they have great clinical research there.

Are you looking for mostly clinical work (patients), or would you be willing to work with animal models? I don't know anyone in NYC, but there used to be a couple of good people out at SUNY Stonybrook/Brookhaven (I don't know if Dr. Volkow still has her lab out there or not, but you might want to check).

Good luck!
