I read somewhere years ago that the rate at which your heart recovers from the stress of exercise is a good indiction of one's fitness.
I have been scouring the web looking for a chart or some guidelines like this but have not found much.
What I have found is that you should have a drop of at least 12 beats per minute in the first minute after stopping your peak level work.
Does anyone have any information regarding this?
Cheers! Ian.
