I sit here at midnight, tired, but surfing the web looking for information. As my mind begins to ponder other things, I start thinking about strange and odd things that seem to reoccur in my life. Here's a couple of examples:

When I dream (if I remember them) I dream about several people who I've never met... Later on I meet them.. And no I'm not kidding here.. I remember to this day the dream I had about my wife. To make things even more interesting, I met her online, she lived in Ohio while I lived in Georgia at the time..

Knowing when the phone is about to ring, and knowing who it is without picking it up.. (and no it's not because I have caller ID). This doesn't happen all the time, but it happens enough that my wife tells me to stop it.

Unusual or abnormal animal relationships.. I seem to make friends with all animals relatively quickly.. Even "mean" ones.. I must just really be a likable person. ;)

Now don't get me wrong, I don't give credit to every paranormal-ghost-psychic-alien-controversy. But I do believe that there is more about ourselves and the universe that we don't know, than we do know.

Anyways, other things I have been thinking about.. Anyone have absolutly brilliant ideas in the middle of the night, like wake up out of a dead sleep and yell "OMG I'm gonna be rich!" to which your spouse slaps you and tells you to go back to sleep. So you do and you forget what it was that was brilliant?

What about some of your best ideas comming when you are so tired you can't think.. and then all the sudden BOOM! you grab some soda and stay up for 3 days working on it. Maybe it's just me..

Ever look at someone and know what they are thinking?

Think I should go to bed now? Yeah me too.. But ponder on this for a while and see what ya come up with. Post anything that seems weird or out of place.

Hmmmm...ok get outta my head..lmbo

Yes I too do darn near everything you just posted. My mom used to hate it when I would jump and say..hey quick straighten the house so and so is comming over in about 5 minutes.

The funniest one that ever happen is I'm right in the middle of a therapy session and I turn to the councelor and say..the phone is about to ring don't panic it's your wife and she has gone into labor. I had no idea he was married until that very minute let alone that they were expecting. And the phone rang and he turned ghost white. I still get the giggles when ever I think about it.

Most of my middle of the night solutions seem to hit me about 3:30 a.m. If I have had a paticularly troublesom problem that I just can't seem to find a solution to, it always seems to hit me at that time. Then I'm wide awake and I just have to write it down or I too will forget it. (Now if spelling would just do that in the middle of the night for me..lmbo)

As for being able to tell what other are thinking. LMBO..there are some peoples heads that are better left unread. I truely think this is why I hate being in large crowds, especially ones where tension is thick. Although it has saved a few people from being harmed in the past.

Do you too get gut feelings of things that are about to go really wrong? I get them all the time, just wish I could fine tune that feeling so save a lot of grief for others. This is the one I am in conflict over the most. Sometimes I can home in on where and when and other times, I'm way to late to do anything about.

Well if this hasn't freaked all that know me out..lol..then I'll just chalk it up to another one of my eccentricities.

Yeah I do get gut feelings when things are about to go horribly wrong.. I had it when my father died.. My wife was at home and got the phone call from my stepmother. He was very sick (Complications from diabetes) and she was calling to tell me to hurry and come up. When my wife called me, I knew it was about him and the first thing I said was "It's my father, something's wrong."

But it also goes the other way. I can feel when something good is about to happen. I can't explain it, I just know..

I'd be willing to bet others have these things too, but are scared to admit it, or don't pay attention to it.

Yuppers I agree. I would bet many people have it. Some may just be so closed minded now not to be able to recognize it.

Have you also noticed that as we get older, and influences that effect us, lessen the ability to be able to sense some of these things? I lived in Wichita for awhile and I noticed that I wasn't able to read peoples thoughts as well I used to be able to. It was like there was a polution, or desensitization because of all the mind static as I like to call it.
Well I'm back to being able to feel all of that again, not as strong as when I was a child, but at least I regonize it now for what it is.

And I'm glad I'm not the only looney one out there..lmbo
