:D Well after a long struggle and a lot of patience I finally got the help I NEEDED! I saw an amazing Doc yesterday (the one my psych referred me too) and he totally sat down, listened to me, asked me good questions and cared about getting me proper help! I have had 2 bad experiences in the past, like most of us on here but I stayed the course and the Lord blessed me.

I don't have insurance and my wife is 38 weeks pregnant so money is a concern. We put together a medication plan, that was very afordable and he hardly charged me for his visit. He put me on generic Adderall and the script for for 60 20mg tabs was only 25 bucks!

Second day medicated and I feel great, I have a couple small sides going on, but I am sure those will pass in time. I could not stop licking my lips yesterday!!! I had to go out and get chapstick to help! The only real issue is with my mouth, I am flipping my tounge around and it seems like it just won't sit still. My brain on the other hand actually processed information like I believe it's supposed to, I felt very clear headed and was able to really concentrate, I got allot of work done yesterday.

Didn't have a hard time falling asleep, but I woke up at 1:45, and didn't get back to sleep around 2:45. I assume this will get better as my body gets used to the meds, I also am normally a very "Heavy" sleeper, and the last night the slightest thing woke me up.

Just wanted to let me friends now how it was going, and hopefully encourage some peps to keep at it. My Doc said to embrace my ADD, and use it as a tool for success!

Yup, pretty excited about all this. I have been using fitness to cope with the sympts as much as possible, but it came to a point of not helping enough.

Thanks for the congrats, I thank the Lord every day for putting Kari in my life, she had stood by me during my crazyness and loved me the whole way. I can't wait to hold our BOY!
