My hands are hurting off and on as of a year ago or two. I wouldn’t care except I play the guitar and I really like that. Typing can become hard on me too.
I take Adderall XR 40mg a day, but not very consistently. When I take Adderall I don’t eat until 4-7:00 PM out of focus. Later that I try to work in 3 additional meal times before 12:00 when I go to bed, so it’s possible this is related to malnutrition.
Here is a list of side effects of interest (I hope I got all the related ones):
-Very cold hands
-Sweaty clammy hands
-My hand joints crack more readily (all joints in fact)
-My fingers will lock in the grip position after carrying a heaving thing for 10 secs or so (with or with out meds now it seems).
(Extra note: I used to get a tingling sensation in them as if they were going to fall asleep, but it doesn’t happen very often anymore. I happened when I drove my minivan to school. It will happen if I use my keyboard or mouse with bad posture too, but I think I keep a good posture these days I think. )
Those are the everyday side effects, but on some days I get quite a bit of mysterious pain near my knuckles on my hands. The joints nearest my fingernails of my right hand also hurt after a short period of finger picking. Just wondering if anyone has experienced the same symptoms as me and knows what to do about them. Thanks.
