Yes, nothing can compare to Barr's Brand Name Adderall. But for those of us who can't afford it, there are dozens (hundreds?) of threads here about the Generic versions of Adderall (Amphetamine Salts) as follows:

Barr Generic
Eon / Sandoz
Mallinckrodt
Ranbaxy / Corepharma

I've talked to others here and we'd all love to see a central place where we can see others' opinions about these meds.

As such, please:

1) Vote in the poll located here: http://www.addforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=57621

2) After that, feel free to rate, below, the generics in order which you prefer

or share about which generics cause:

Smooth consistent release vs. an energy surge then drop
Good focus/concentration/attention vs. being scattered

Thank you for your participation!!

i've been on barr 20mg IR for nearly a year, and I'd describe the dose as an instant rush (my high metabolism allows for quicker absorbton), followed 2.5-3 hours later by a hard crash that moreorless takes the life outta me. I have tried adderall brand XR, and it was smoother, but harder to fit into my schedule. the barr generics IR crash is pretty bad, but at least manageable with proper hydration and diet during the day, and some vitamin c at night, to help take the edge off.

Interesting. Could swear I've read some posts in the past of some people swearing that generic Barr branded ritalin wasn't nearly as effective as something else. Yet, some here like it better for generic branded adderall?
