I always thought it was interesting that children with ADD were at higher risk for bladder control issues. It is not uncommon for boys with ADD to wet the bed, even into their teenage years. The drug Tofranil is sometimes prescribed as an ADD drug, but is also used to control enuresis (bedwetting).
Do you think that this lack of voluntary muscle control is tied to the uncontrolled outbursts and impulsive behavior we often see in ADD and ADHD children?
Any thoughts?
