Do we have any Web Page programers who know how to do the coding to put a working Button on a web page.

I found a program that does it for you but they want money for there program (the nerve of them eh)

I like buttons on my web pages instead of links but I like them to work like you are actully pushing them instead of just clicking on a picture that looks like a button

Like our submit button in example

Anyone know how to do that

Lets go one step further

is there any Web Page Programers that want to teach me how to do a web Page (Long Distance) via the internet ????

I'm off to the city Garry but we'll talk later. Yes a button isn't tough. Just link it to the image. I have to spend the day in the city.. later...

Or likely someone else will post. It's not tough at all dude..

There is a button on this page. Have a look at the source code and see if you can figure out how it was done.

By far the coolest web button generator website: http://www.flashbuttons.com/

http://www.westciv.com/style_master/house/cookbook/buttons.html

A cool tutorial on how to create plain text links that look and act like buttons, using style sheets. Probably my preferred method of doing things, as it doesn't horribly break the site's accessibility in older browsers...

It might be a bit confusing for those without a lot of web design experience, though. Basically, the easiest way to implement style sheets is to put the style sheet code in between <STYLE></STYLE> tags, inside the <HEAD> of the page. Again, that probably makes no sense for those without a lot of experience writing HTML...heh...
