What to you find particularly funny (films, TV, comedians etc)?
I find I have a strange sense of humor.

Not gross funny but normal "this could happen to you" kinda stuff. lollypop 10-16-08, 05:29 PM My sense of humour is odd and almost impossible to predict. Things which most people find funny I find irritating because its stupid, i dont get the joke, its pointless whats so funny are usually the kind of things I'm thinking while others are rolling around on the floor occasionally taking a breath to tell me I'm a bore with no sense of humour. But then other times I'm crying with laughter, my belly hurts, its agony where im laughing so hard and I couldnt tell you what triggered it, mores to the point those around me can never figure it out either so I'm usually in hysterics while everyone looks on bemused. I did it the other night actually, there I am in bed with hubby who's trying to be all amorous and I start giggling and couldnt stop, thankfully he found it funny and when I eventually managed to regain control of my laughter we had some fun but I still dont know what made me laugh lol meriellyn 10-16-08, 05:31 PM I love Jeff Dunham too. As well as Mitch Hedberg (obviously) and Katt Williams. I like a lot of stand-up, I just can't remember names. I'm also particularly amused by Monty Python, Robin Hood Men in Tights, Super Troopers, Scrubs, House, Stephanie McPhee aka The Yarn Harlot... and lots of stuff I can think of at the moment... And I find humor in tons of stuff that's not "supposed" to be funny. sarek 10-17-08, 07:57 AM "Mainstream" humor is not for me. Especially not the moralistic kind which US writers are so fond of producing all the way from the Cosby show to friends. There's always a lesson in it somehow. Not my cup of tea. I like Monty python/Fawlty towers, Rowan Atkinson, Allo Allo and other comparable series a lot better. And controversial stuff like South Park. Although those writers seem to be able to turn even controversial humor into a pseudo-religion of its own. Mantis 10-17-08, 08:13 AM Karl Pilkington is the funniest guy alive I think : ) |
