Often when reading out loud I stumble on my words rather progressively. But when i am using a British, Scottish or Russian accent I find i can do it nearly flawlessly. It comes with a comical effect, anyone ever tried it ?

Hi and Welcome to ADDForums, Nicholai229, :D
Reading in those accents sounds interesting and yes amusing and if it works for you that's really great. I've always been fascinated by accents and love the lilt of the Scottish accent.

Love to read with all the different accents and voices. Strictly for mine and my children's entertainment though.

Yes, found that too. I love to speak in fake accents.

'Listen carefully I shall say zies eunly wance'

or, for the connaiseurs:

'Da' ken noit ut heur'.

Strange, I can't do accents at all. - Except American speaking French, of course (haha).

Me to, I love to do impressions and speak with an accent. I'm usually the life of a the party with my impressions - if I'm in that mood.

I always kinda wanted to be an actor, but there wasn't much motivation - DAMN ADHD!! I really love the way British people talk - I wish I had a British friend. The Pikey's are AWESOME AS WELL! This guy on here ramsam got me hooked on the DONK!

Do it all the time when reading aloud - half the time don't even realize it.

i almost never speak or read outloud, i talk to myself in my head (a lot) and the same with reading (i hear my voice reading it.). i've always been worried my parents or others would hear me and wonder what i was doing, so i've learned to keep it inside i guess.

but i definitely talk in my head in various accents, LOL.
