View Full Version : Need Everyones Help!
I created this community for everyone with an interest in ADD/ADHD.. It will virtually run itself but due to a new job I have been working on, I have had VERY little time to promote our community, or run it..
I am in need of all your help to get the word out. In addition to this, if you would like to help run ADD Forums, please let me know and I will look into making you a moderator.
I am sorry I started this and cannot participate right now, but I don't want to take it down. I feel it has so much potential. I don't mind paying to keep it online as long as you all want it.j
Further, I would be happy to add any forums members want, and remove any that are redundant, or not needed.
Please send your comments or offers to become a site moderator to me at:
admin@addforums.com
Thanks,
David

Thanks for bringing this back to life, David.
My pleasure. I am sorry I let it go there for a while. It won't happen again. :)
David

Flyfisher 03-19-03, 05:08 PM This forum is great, thanks to everyone involved for making it available. I have learned alot from it and hope to be able to contribute helpful info for others.:D
healthwiz 03-20-03, 12:26 AM its a great site david. I think adding additional moderators is a good idea. Not sure if i have time to offer to do so, but I visit often and leave plenty of posts. The format of this software is excellent for being able to track individual discussions and find new posts and find posts by any particular member..etc. Lots of benefits of this system. So keep it rolling! And good luck in your new job btw!
Jon
This is a really fantastic forum. I like the way it is set up. I'm getting to know it more and more each time I visit here.
If there is any place that needs moderating I would be glad to lend a hand, and my brain if it isn't out to lunch or losted in da woods again. :D
Congrats on a Job well done.
This site has been a Godsend to me. Now I finally realize that I'm not crazy:)
StayWithMeHere 10-12-04, 08:30 PM There is a link to these forums already on the web site I share with Ginger404. I was so excited when I found this forum, I didn't need to prompted to add the link, LOL!

charlie 10-30-04, 11:26 AM Hey Ginger404 and StayWithMeHere,
What a great web site I Love Anti-Martha what a resource!
Just have to copy and share the following portion from organization:
If you notice a place where certain things continually pile up, maybe it's time to give them a home there.
Like when the neighbor's chihuahua decides he's going to live with you now.
You put a basket-bed out for him, because you're a nice person. Be a nice person. Give stuff a home
Wish you had pictures showing examples of what I imagine the organization drawers could look like, maybe before and after shots?
Just a thought from an unorganized person looking for incentive. Thanks for sharing your web site!
Gentle reminder: Please stick to the topic of the thread :) There are sections of this forum where a discussion about websites would be more appropriate.
Thanks.
David,
What does a moderator do? I am online several times a day (often for hours at a time) - not necessarily actively online, but the computer's on, and the Express is running.
This site has been important to me since this August when I was diagnosed (which I'd found it earlier, like when I was four years old!). Thanks, Susan

FoggyPhil 01-31-05, 02:41 PM David -
I'm curious if you know the bandwidth and disk space useage? I have a multiple domain hosting account that I have to pay for anyway, might have room to save you the money.
slackr007 03-01-05, 05:03 PM David:
I'd be happy to help too. I'm not sure I'll have much time over the next at least 6 years(I'm a sophmore in highschool right now and I'm headed to a special high school next year for accelerated math and science students), but about 90% of the time that I am concious and not in class, I am right here at my computer. If modding the forums isn't too time consuming I'd be more than happy to help out. I know I'm pretty new here, but Ive got lots of forum experience and this is where I would want to give back more than anything else. Please let me know what is required of a mod. I'd just like to thank you SSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOO much for this site. I'm sure its affected people in ways we will never know! Keep up the good work! Thanks!
The best way to be identified (and qualified) for a moderator's position, is to contribute to the forums as a member. When searching for Moderator candidates, Moderators and Administrators search for active contributors who add value to the forums by the quality of their posts and responses.
I look forward to reading more from all of you!
