My dreams have been the point of interest for me, my family and friends for years....

A few weeks ago I had a dream about a women a work with who happens to live up the street from my mom. I dreamed I was driving to my moms and was driving past this women's house. I noticed she was standing by the front door so I stopped to say hi to her. She was wearing a long flannel pink fancy night gown. Her hair was pulled back in a big pink bow and she was waving to me with one and had a feather duster in the other......

She just stood there waving and waving and waving..... I drove away....

I told the women about the dream, she laughed and said " oh yes that's how I dress when I cleaning the house"..... :D

One time I was dreaming that in the middle of the night I woke up and was staring at my husband while he was sleeping.... Then I was holding a pillow over his face... :D

He didn't laugh much when I told him this one.....;)

I also have a ton but can't remember all of them..........

I just had a horrible dream, It will be kind of boring to a reader I am sure..
I was visiting with my ex step kids (their grown) And my violin purse and money got left at a gas station. The eldest girl was in a rush or something and took of with me in her car. I kept saying "stop my violin". then we were at some beach cabin, that had a temple that was a tourist attraction, and the kids kept trying to get me to see it. I kept saying I needed to get my violin.

I had already asked their grandparents earlier, it just seemed no one was really listening. It was night I finnally got mad and was saying I was borrowing one of their cars to find my instrument. I couldn't seem to stay on task. I suddenly started crying as loosing my violin was the single worst thing that could happen and the reality of getting it back now was nil.(TThe violin is very special and worth very much)
Anyway other people showed up we were at my home, and someone said the violin was here and pointed near the door, the grandparents had picked it up. Under a table was the case (actually the case I used in childhood). I ran to it opened it up and, it was just the head an instrument.
I screamed and screamed and started talking out loud, saying this can't really be happenning. I was hearing myself freaking in my sleep. I decided it was a dream, (I didn't wake up though) so In My DReaM I woke up and went to the music room and saw my violin laying there. Then I calmed down and continued, whereas I looked behind my violin that was whole now and their was a big roll of small bills, also I felt my shoulder and realized I had my purse all along. Then two little dressed up 3 year old girls walked in for violin lessons. Never saw them before in my life , but i figured I just forgot about new students comming. Then I recieved 2 black purses in the mail, that ,made me happy.? (weird that I cared so much for impractical little purse things!)) Cause they were fancy for formal(gigs) A lady was having a sale on my rug of capes and costumes.
She was irritated at me for something.
It was a weird dream, I usually have more controll and would have never let the violin thing go on so long.
That was freaky for me.

Yes and I hate them. I can't go into details on them because at this point I can't remember them. But I feel like I am awake, but I am really in the dream and get disoriented.

And the thing is the where I am at is always my parents when this happens.

I have had a few really bad nightmares lately. It seems like if I sleep to much, the bad dreams happen.

I have very epic dreams, many of them about some cataclysmic natural disaster ( did you guys notice I have depression anxiety and bp disorder...lol) My dream rarely follow an unatural behaviour pattern but the few times it has have been a hoot.

I dont know if any of you guys remember this lil cartoon super hero group with coocoo man, tornado man, rope man diaper man etc? Well coocoo man wears these itchy red long jogns a mask and flies in short burst much like a chicken or a duck does, (hop-flap flap flap, hop flap flap etc) I dreamed I WAS coocoo man, it was cool.

Then one time i had a horrible dream i was trying to save my daughter as she and a baby ( my youngest wasnt even thought of yet) were washed down a storm drain pipe ( the huge kind used for over flow and flash floods) As I grabbed her by the arm the pull of the rushing water was so forcefull she broke like a doll, i sat and sobbed over her broken peices feeling the most incredible pain knowing she could never be put bacxk together and would never be with me again.

I had a dream when newly pregnant with my first, my son, though i wasnt aware I was pregnant. it was one of those end of the world dreams. Some middle eastern army in drab tan uniforms had invaded and basically blitzkrieged the world. I was with a small band of resistance fighters ( ohhhh boy would a shrink have a feild day with this one) During the dream I had a small child, a baby, a boy who was my child with me on my hip at almost all times ( in life I had no children at that time) He was beautiful, like a painting of a cherub, white golden hair, shiny pink cheeks against pale ivory skin, a smile so wide and pale blue eyes that dissapeared like mine do when he smiled, a healthy chunk of kid neither fat nor skinny. When i woke up I knew that i was going to have a son and what he would look like at that age. I found out two weeks later I was pregnant.with my son who has white hair pale ivory skin with rosy cheeks and a smile that makes his eyes dissapear. he is seventeen now.

Please take a look at these links:

http://www.dreamemporium.com/lucid_dreams.html
http://www.psychwww.com/asc/ld/faq.html

It explains the nature of lucid dreams....

"Lucid Dreams are very vivid...it is impossible to fully explain how powerful and REAL lucid dreams seem, until you actually experience one. Then it is a dream you will never likely forget! The colors are brilliant, you can feel, touch, taste, and make things happen at will."

"The term "lucid dreaming" refers to dreaming while knowing that you are dreaming. The "lucid" part refers to the-

clarity of consciousness rather than the vividness of the dream."

ARG, my dreams are always bonkers! Always the most bizarre stuff, but I always feel like it's REALLY happening...sometimes I wake up and am disappointed that whatever was happening wasn't real!!!

On a related note...if I am woken up during a dream, I am totally out of it. Like I'll be awake but still half asleep...hard to explain. But I stay like that for nearly an hour or 2 after waking.

I know what your talking about diesel. I was dreaming that I was back at my old high school. And I told myself "hey I'm dreaming, and I have control " so it's time to have a little fun. I took off like bird and dropped eggs on the people I didn't like in school. Some of them were not there so I made them show up. I didn't stop there, I flew over to the police station (which was across the street) and pulled that basturd cop (that gave me tickets for j-walking when I was late for 1st period) and i dragged his *** down the street with a rope and threw him in the pacific ocean.I woke up and was so bummed that it was back to reality.Lucid dreams are not scary nor unpleasant most people in here have listed vivid dreams (big difference)
