I have no idea if this has been done yet, but I thought it would be fun to post a dream up if you manage to remember it : ) If you post one up, keep it short(ish) and to the point so it's interesting for everyone to read!!

I had a particularly vivid one last night:

I was by a pond filled with murky water, with my sister. I was trying to catch tadpoles (I believe they're called pollywogs in america, or something like that. Baby frogs, you get the idea). I was catching thousands of them in a net and pouring them into a container.
I then took a massive jar and filled it with the pond water. In this jar I caught some miniture Sting Rays (only about 2 inches long), some newts and a black Eel. I placed my arms into the murky pond water and a Great Crested Newt crawled into my arms. I've never seen one in real life so my brain kind of made up what it looked like; it was massive, about a meter long! It sat calmly in my arms and then after a few minutes, returned to the pond.


I woke up feeling quite happy. This is very rare for me as I have to say most of my dreams make me feel either confused or worried, or something! Anyways, it was good enough that I thought I'd have to write it somewhere...even though I can't explain why it gave me a good feeling. Hah.

Thats a nice dream Mantis! Its a happy dream full of vitality and regeneration. I had a good dream last night as i woke up smiling but its seeped back into my soul and i cannot remember it :(

i did write down of the best dream i ever had, in 2005. Here it is:

Outside my Bray window a purple mountain called the Sugar Loaf nestles against the sky's still horizons.
It is nighttime as we lounge around my living room with the curtains half open,
The next thing a jolt of electricity flashes from head to toe as we witness the unthinkable before us.
A spaceship is darting through the sky, shaped like a massive bathroom plunger or a some sort of state of the art soother;
there are panels of lights in vibrant colours at its base and these project laser-beam lights onto the top of the sugar loaf, whereupon a man stands watching.
The sentinel suddenly gets beamed up by the ship in a kind of tornado-like suction and the ship evaporates from the sky, which is left bathing in a glow of dusk.

Last night I dreamed about walking around a never ending shopping mall and finding apple fritter donuts the only thing sold for food. At the end of the hall was a huge square where people were celebrating the US election and all holding apple fritters aloft. I'm not making this up. Can't quite figure it out, but sometimes a donut is just a donut:D. I've been obsessing on losing the last few pounds I gained from Celexa, and I admit I was craving an apple fritter for a week AND was also relieved by the results of our election which I saw shortly before going to bed.

I HAVE had a few odd dreams since starting wellbutrin; mostly stuff that seems to mix a sense of half-awareness of my surroundings while sleeping into my dream activities.

My dream two days ago was pretty cool, although I can only recall it in two loops. Its set in a massive grey seascape. I was being lowered into the water from a tightrope, towards some icebergs which were dark blue and frozen. me and a couple of other divers were cutting through these icebergs trying to make massive incisions to dig out people that were trapped inside them!!!:eek:

We managed to retrieve one person from the igloo-type iceberg and immediately then I was hoisted up really high, about 100 feet onto this tightrope as i was was gonna do a bungee jump - with Sydney Harbour in the background, but it was really cold and wintery!!:p

I was a bit scared, but enjoying the view. Then suddenly Im on a dimly beach at night, with loads of other folks, one of whom was a blond youngish fella, (kind of 'blank' face and not someone i know) and he announced he was off to take a swim, and sadly, he never came back.:( That dream was really sad. We mourned his loss with a big singsong in a paisley carpetted living room.

weird as hell!!!

I dreampt last night that I was eating some bread and crumbs were dropping on the floor. My best friend was there and shaking his head at me and I felt really bad.

This dream reflects my feelings a lot right now: Inadequate...like I can't do anything right.

I dreamt last night, and this is the truth, that I met girl a I know at a frat party, and that I was really confident and funny, and as a result of this we had sex, and she said that I was a sex god.

Honestly, I actually don't know what to make of this. It's interesting that this thread came along right now, because this really was one of the more strange dreams that I've ever had. Mostly because it was so incredibly comprehensible. It was nothing like the flurry of strange scenes that I normally dream of.

An example of a "normal" dream for me would be one that I had a few weeks ago. I was on a pirate ship, and we were going down a rough river, with rapids and such. And then a mutany erupted on the ship, and I had to kill someone, and I remember clearly slicing through him and it felt good. I knew that killing him would make the world a better place, because he was evil.

In the midst of a very busy weekend, full of problems that were confusing to resolve, my dream...that our Artistic Director painted our new set bright/hot pink with sky blue trim. A Barbie Dream house for a "thriller" play.

Last night it was an intense remake of the Harry Potter Sorcerer's Stone and Chamber of Secrets movies all mixed together with creatures from "Spirited Away".

I don't remember anything from last night.. hmm, i'll get back to ya next time I remember.

Hmm, I had a pretty intense dream last night.
I was sitting in a field looking up at the sky. The sky and clouds were completely purple and drifting past REALLY fast.
Not much happened, but there was such a heavy, ominous atmosphere, it was so strange. Anyways, I feel very odd today, filled with a strong feeling of something, but I'm not sure what! There's something I need to do, what is it though?? :O

I dreamt about a friend I found out I lost yesterday, woke up, dreamt that no one believed me when I was trying to tell about a car wreck.

Frankly, I had a dream about a sexual encounter. A few of them, actually. And it was good. :o

Which would usually be a-ok with me... except it was with an ex-partner who also happens to be long gone in a heroin addiction. That part was also in my dream - he shot up in the car in the middle of a taco bell parking lot after scoring. Funny how memories weasel their way into dream, eh?

Holy crap, I just found out that the dude I dreamt about last night was sentenced to prison a couple days ago! Weird..

Last night i had a pretty intense dream of hooking up wit my mates gf ;# i dnt even find her attractive lol, was dead weird

I had a great dream last night so I'd like to share it!

I was a giant robotic lizard (about the size of a large crocodile) called 'Goddammit' (lol). I lived in another dimension full of pastel colours and abstract shapes. I had another robotic lizard friend who lived here called 'Inferno'. There was a problem though; Santa Claus had been murdered so I was appointed to deliver the presents this year!

I went through the portal to the 'human world' and lept happily across the rooftops trying to find my informant who would tell me where to pick up the presents. I finally found him; he was a large robotic owl. Apparently I had to create the presents myself by using a massive amount of energy, the only thing that provided enough energy to do it was the 'Core of a Cinema'. So basically I had to break into a cinema and steal its 'core'.

I'd made a mistake; when I went through the portal, someone had followed me through. It was Darth Vader. I knew I was supposed to be careful when crossing worlds so this was my fault. He was coming for me! There was no time to fight with Darth, I had to get to a cinema...I fired some lazer beams at him and weaved in and out of alleys to try and lose him. Stealthily, I crawled into a cinema and made my way to a secret basement unnoticed. In here there was a big glowing green orb floating. A bouncer was guarding it. "I'm taking this Core!" I said. He replied "You can't! The cinema collapse if you do!". There was no time for arguements though, I lept over his head, grabbed the core in my mouth and then ran out as fast as I could.

Before I could get out of the cinema, I was stopped by Darth Vader. He tripped me as I was running through a door; I went tumbling over and dropped the cinema core. "I felt your presence" he said. The bouncer jumped on my back in an attempt to hold me down. Darth slowly raised his light saber, preparing to cut my head off. At that moment I lifted the bouncer off my back with my tail and flung him into Darth. I grabbed the core again and sprinted out. The cinema collapsed behind me (whoops, I think I killed a fair few people).

Darth Vader was not defeated though...he emerged from the rubble, unharmed. My friend, 'Inferno' met up with me outside (he was glowing bright red). "We can't beat Darth." he said, "I'll distract him whilst you make the presents." Inferno started running around Darth at lightning speeds, creating a ring of fire. I sprinted away to find somewhere safe...

That's it though, I was woken up around this point. Oh well.

There were a few other events but they were really random and didn't fit the flow of the story so I ommited them!

Very simple answer. I had a dream about the these Forums. i.e.. pm's, postings etc...

I had some random dreams the night before last.

I was inside Longleat House and well I can't remember everything clearly, but I was walking around, I walked one way and then back again to double-check that I knew the way...then I went off to wherever I was going in the house, and couldn't find my way/my way back. I was panicking a bit but it was also quite fun as there were so many corridors and dorrs to go through! At one point I thought there would be a trap door behind a toilet (which was just sitting at the end of a corridor!), so I pulled the cystern off or something :p and yeah it broke! I don't think I found my way out, I think it faded out and I woke up.
The dream I had before that is only short, I was on Detonator (a drop tower ride at Thorpe Park) and my restraint felt really loose when we were at the top, and I remember something about my arm being trapped. Then when it dropped it wasn't forceful and I told the operator, saying I didn't think all the pistons at the top were working properly...then she explained it was fine...then the next lot of people were strapped in and the ride went with me in the restricted ride area! She was like "Ooops..."

I always have such random dreams! :D

the last couple night i have had some strange "dreams"? i dreamt that i woke up, grabbed my cell phone, and laid back in bed holding the cell phone in my hand. i could feel all this going on. i would then squeeze my hand to make sure i still had it, but...it wasnt there! i was really confused....then, my user name lol

Last night, I dreamt.. of something very wonderful..

--My dream is about the first day of school... I am so surprised when I entered our classroom because the first person that I saw is the person who I really admire! Oh my gosh.. Ahaha.. Then, when I looked around, the only vacant seat is the seat next to him!!! Whooo! Ahaha.. How I wish I didn't wake up anymore.. Naughty puppies.. They made me wake up because of their cry.. :D

My dreams last night weren't very pleasant :(

First one I remember I was back at school, and on a trip, think it might have been a skiiing trip (we had one in year 9 which I went to). None of my friends went and I was crying saying that no one would want to share a room with me (we had to choose who to go with)...but then everyone had lists of names with who they were sharing a room with. Next minute I was in my room and I was crying and then I saw some people I knew from work. And that's all I remember!

The second one was short. I was waking up in the morning and I opened my eyes and couldn't see! Then I realised I hadn't opened my eyes, and I was realy struggling to open them. Finally I pulled them open and I must have had conjunctivitis, cos they were glued together with pusy stuff/sleep. Ew.

I had a similar dream a few months back,except in that one I DID open my eyes and I couldn't see, it was so scary!!

i dreamed i was a baby piggy on a farm! Oink Oink!!

I dreamt I was at my local airport and I was on the monorail going from the South terminal to the North terminal...and I saw some people from my old job, one of them was a TL...and then there was a technical fault and one of them tried to fix it and the train tipped over and we fell over! :D
And then they were tickling me :eek: verrry strange!

I have felt a little disturbed lately by dreams of terrorist attack. I’m an empath and I have had many dreams come true so when I dream of something like this it scares me.

my god... i dreamed that i had assembled a neutron source... and it was even realistic, in a way that is in theory possible (though with the quantities of stuff i used in my dream, not legal). the only thing that was completely surrealistic was: i could measure them with a geiger mueller counter. that's illogic, as they do not have an electrical charge. but boy, did i produce many of them. i remember turning some coins radioactive with my neutron source, which was realistic, too. jeez, what a dream... it was so realistic (and scary), it completely messes me up. :confused:
