I had been on concerta for quite a long time, long enough for my body to get resistant to the adhd symptom controlling effects for the most part. My question is why did I have to start on a low dose of adderall coming from a high dose of concerta? Are the drugs really that totally different? I'm just amazed that I was on a large dose of concerta and am now finding a standard to lower dose of adderall is working wonders for me . So my question is that if your on one stim, like concerta then you will not have a tolerance to stimulants in generall like adderall right? I was just looking for somebody to break it down for me regarding that being tolerant to concerta will have nothing to do with the starter dose for adderall when changing meds... Things are great , pretty cool how much better my symptom control is now. The transition week while I was just starting adderall was rough, I felt good the first day and then kinda cracked out for a few days, but then after a week it was smooth coasting.
