memantine is supposedly one of the best uncompetitive NMDA antagonists. on top of that, it focuses on glutamatergic NMDA receptors.

it is only fda approved for alhzeimer's, but supposedly has the reputation to "cure" amphetamine tolerance (an exaggeration i'm sure, but no doubt more effective than DXM/magnesium).

Well, I have been abstaining from my Adderall dose for a week now...and taking memantine (10mg in morning, 10mg at night) each day. Hopefully, when Adderall is reintroduced, I will notice a difference in its effectiveness.

justin, how did you get a prescription for mematine? did your doc write it for you to combat adderall tolerance?
