I was on Adderal XR for about six months, it worked decently well for me with the exception of some mood issues, and then due to some changes in lifestyle and circumstance I ended up taking a drug holiday for about three months, part of this the three month period went fine, but some stuff recently has made me decide that I really ought to be back on meds again... So, I started back up again today, and while I can't say anything was really different about my behavior today than when I was on meds six months ago, I did notice something I hadn't noticed before, though thinking back I'm pretty sure it occurred when I was on the meds... I lose the ability to multi-task when the meds are active in my system.

Everything I do, I start, finish, and move on to the next thing... Which is great because I don't normally do that off meds. But, when I'm put in a situation where there are simulatenous things I need to pay atttention to, I start struggling and become really angry and mean.

For example, I was working when my husband came home (I work at home), and my husband kept continually interrupting me to ask me questions, and I felt myself getting really angry and flustered because my mind was hyperfocused on the task at hand, and it felt like he was getting in the way.

I used to think that my outbursts at him when I was on the meds the first time were mostly due to them wearing off and me crashing, but I'm half wondering now that some of those times, it wasn't crashing at all... Just getting flustered with the inability to multi-task.

Has anyone else experienced this with Adderall?

how much are you taking? it seems your taking a lil bit too much. it seems to me that your experienceing aggression from being overstimulated
