reporting back, after 3 months on IR had to get back on Lexapro due to anxiety....Lex has killed the anxiety completely, still on 20mg twice day IR but it seems only help for 2.5hrs now instead of 4 like previous.....kinda ****es me off because when first started on it was great for concentration, amazing

I have tried taking weekend breaks from Adderall, but doesnt seem help much, plus those days w/o it are miserable!!! have also tried 10mg twice day and is not bad, but not great either.....also doing the fish oil, vitamins, etc, not sure thats helped at all really

I am not sure if I can blame the Lexapro for it, the IR seemed to start losing effectiveness even prior.....the anxiety was intolerable so had no choice....

dam it...this sucks, bothers me the Adderall is not working as good but now I cant even get off it w/o feeling miserable at least

You may do better on a pure d-amp drug like Vyvanse. Adderall is much more physically stimulating for many people than Vyvanse (or IR dexedrine). The physical stimulation is from norepinepherine/noradrenalin, which can definitely lead to anxiety as a side-effect.

I have had anxiety my whole life and it was much worse when I was relying on stimulants that caused any jitters. My anxiety disappeared (for the most part) when I went on Vyvanse.

Switching meds may also help a little if your problem is just tolerance, although it is still important to find the right dose.

Just a thought,
