ok,at the tender age of 7 on a rainy day, nothing is more fun than playing with make-up,especially if dady participates, lol, seriously tho I find my lot can spend hours playing dressup,make-up clothes etc and putting on little shows ,pottery wheel is also great,in fact anything that makes a mess and or is noisy,.........ahhh the joys of parenting

Well, one good way for a child to spend a rainy day, IMO, is reading. There is this great series of books called Redwall. The main characters are animals, but act humanlike. Redwall refers to this commune where many animals such as mice, moles, shrews, squirrels, live in a medevil setting. The main characters of the various books will tend to fight villians that are of the species fox, weasel, ferret, etc. Here is a link to the official website:

Of course, there is also the Narnia series...Basically, the library is a good place to be.That's where I liked to be at that age. Have her check out books she likes.

Also, there's this cool game called Rollar Coaster Tycoon 2, where you get to desighn rollarcoasters and build themeparks. It teaches kids the laws of physics and how to budget money.
