I took 15mg XR at 5pm to help me study. I will be going to bed at 2-3 and waking up at 5-6am to start studying. I am planning to take another at this time. That would essentially be taking 2 15mg XR doses 12 hours from each other. Would spreading the dose like this be alright?

Yes, it wouldn't hurt anything to do that. At 15mg, it wouldn't even be dangerous to take two at the same time (but don't do this, take as prescribed). :)

You may have trouble sleeping tonight though, so best of luck with that and good luck studying.
