to resize photos: do you have photoshop? if so, image size is controlled from a drop down menu from the top of the screen in photoshop. sure there is other software.

Interestingly, my brother and best friend, who are pictured with me, also are wearing braces and various versions of the hairstyle of the decade. My friend's 'do looks like Kerry Von Eric's. If memory serves, she is also wearing two gold necklaces. One is bearing the VH insignia of Van Halen and another is none other than Night Ranger. Those babies were custom made, if you can imagine such a thing.

Futs knows what that means. It is our motto, our mantra, if you will. It means "best two out of three." I think the translation is correct, but I couldn't remember or find online the declension of numbers. We were talking about being annoyingly competitive, I think, and she said that she always says "best two out of three" if she loses. I said that my whole family and I also do, so much that it is probably in latin on our family crest. Anyway that's what that's all about.

NO I think it's a disk he bought type thing. I openly admit to being computer illiterate. As far as I know we are playing against the computer.

lol christiana i hear what your saying there....i dont know if i have any good pics of myself as a kid....but without a scanner i have no way of posting them...LOL....boy they should have came up with Windows XP and digital cameras in 1975...tee hee hee...my folks probably wouldnt have known how to use them then either.

walmart scan's pictures onto a disk for you and so do a lot of your office max places.

I'll have to go look through my pics & see if I can find any that I wanna post. :-)

Btw... You can put pics on a disc at Target stores as well.

I have destroyed most of the photographic evidence of my youth. :-) I have an old highschool activity card with a shot of me at sixteen in it. If I can find a way to scan it I'll throw that in here. It's a bit over exposed, but it's not too bad. There were some shots that weren't too bad of me from Electronics school in the Navy too when I was 19 and twenty lying around somewhere. I couldn't find the copies I had for the longest time and my friend Joni, when I was still speaking with her had copies back from when I was 19 and had told me she found them and would send those to me. Only her hubby found them and got mad at her. I was quite the muscular young lad you see. ;-) Not that they were revealing or bad or anything. So he shredded them. Oh well, The fact that they were in a dusty old shoe box among her old high school era belongings should have been his first clue. The second should have been the dates on the back. Too bad the Navy haircut and uniform made style dating impossible. heh, heh. Of course, the fact he and I were good friends and had been for a good ten years by that time should have been a factor and a half too. I only got the two of them back together. Ungrateful jerk. Jealousy is an ugly thing. Especially when I am no threat to that guy at all. I have my own wife to make miserable, why the hell would I want to make his wife miserable too? Point is, no pics other than the activity card until I find them. That's what happens when you take pictures 15 years ago, distribute all your doubles to friends and forget about what you did with the originals for fifteen years.

I showed one of the young ladies on my ship the activity card picture the cruise before last because I had been growing out my mustache and not being used to having one at first I couldn't be objective about how it was coming in. So I asked a lady I worked with who was the first person I bumped into that morning and she said, I don't know I've never seen you without one (I started working there two months into the cruise). She said it looked fine to her, but she'd have to see me without one to render an opinion of what people who had seen me without it would think. The only non facial haired pic I had on my person was that stupid old activity card. I figured it still looked enough like me for her to get the gist. She told me to keep the mustache because if I shaved it, it would make me look younger and none of the people who worked for me would take me as seriously... Then she said, Man, you actually used to be cute! OUCH, that past tense hurt! These young kids these days can be mean little *******s!

Somewhere I probably have horrible, embarrassing '80s photos too. ;) (Mostly of other people. Too bad none of them have enough money for me to blackmail now. I guess having partied with me in the '80s is not an auspicious sign for one's career prospects. Sigh... :rolleyes: )
