What Color Eyes do you have?
Although my eyes are Hazel, they change color....from a deep green to aqua (blue/green) to brown
kitty_kaht 04-06-03, 03:48 PM I also have Hazel eyes, but depending on what colour I'm wearing they have a more dominant colour, usually green, although I have been known to have a bit of red in em,lol, depending on how heavy the night before was.
Lafnalot 04-06-03, 06:46 PM I have blue/green
Boogiebutt 04-07-03, 07:46 PM i have brown
I have Hazel Brown eyes. My eyes have yellow, green, red, gray and 3 different shades of brown.
My grandmother used to say that my eyes were like gold orbs when I was happy, green when I was full of **** and vinegar, and red when I was mad at the world.
My eyes are hazel and they change colors with my moods or what I am wearing. They also reflect when I'm not feeling good. There are days my kids tell me that my eyes are almost brown, or completely blue... sometimes they are violet. I love confusing people :)
Energizer_Bunny 04-09-03, 12:25 AM Green eyes and I am so glad cause they now go with my new hair color......RED.

misclee 04-25-03, 10:06 AM Hazel--greenish brown. Mostly they look light brown, but when I'm mad or tired....flaming green.:)
Blue. And all three of my children have blue eyes. But my 15 year old's change according to what he's wearing.

Whizper 02-21-05, 01:52 PM Scratch my vote for green eyes...they are more toward hazel ( at least that's what my hubby said)
I say i have brown eyes. People say i have hazel eyes, because when i am tired or upset  they turn green.
pembroke 02-21-05, 03:36 PM my eyes are hazel, but ever-changing, depending on mood, lighting, clothing color....
stori813 04-21-05, 06:28 PM I have Dark brown eyes
My siblings all have Hazel eyes
aneededchange 04-21-05, 06:47 PM I was born with blue eyes ... then as I got older (4th-6th grades I believe) they turned gray. Then, low and behold - they are green and have been that color since I was about 13.
They do vary in shades of green - depending on my mood. I have been told they turn gray when I am *really* *really* mad. LOL
My mother has blue eyes, my father light brown, and my sister hazel (outer ring is bright amber with rings of green and brown as it gets closer to the pupil ... with flexs of gols and blue throughout).

One eye is Blue and my other eye is green......I was born a fereak :D
auntchris 04-21-05, 09:28 PM I was born with Dark blue eyes with a darker blue ring around on the outside. As I became older about in my late 30's my eyes began to become more of a blue- green color. (dad has green eyes and mom blue) My eyes seem to change in color intesity depending upon what I am wearing and also the time of year. My eyes are one of my best features.
RhapsodyInBlue 04-22-05, 01:33 AM Mine are really strange. They are not a normal green, but like emerald green and have almost complete black rings around the iris color.
Not even normal eyes. I think I resemble an owl:cool: .
Andrei has Olive green eyes, really deep, but pure in color. Very beautiful to look at. ;)
witsend 04-22-05, 02:33 AM MY eyes are blue but the center of my iris is yellow....like a cat. MEOW!!!:)
Crazy~Feet 05-14-06, 03:38 PM Green here, too, and also an "odd shade". I am at a loss how to describe them, I also have the ring around the iris....a light, murky shade maybe?
2 of my kids have blue eyes, one has brown...and the one who has the exact same eyes as me (which I have never seen in any other human being BTW) is the ADDer :D.
EYEFORGOT 05-14-06, 04:11 PM What Color Eyes do you have?
Although my eyes are Hazel, they change color....from a deep green to aqua (blue/green) to brown
Is it when you're angry or does it depend on the colors you wear?
I have a friend with beautiful blue eyes that look like ice when he gets mad.
Mine seem to change from more green to more blue based on the colors I'm wearing.
ms_sunshine 05-14-06, 10:38 PM Mine are hazel, and they change depending upon my mood or what color I am wearing. There is one person in every generation of my family who gets this color. We actually call them "chameleon" colored, because they change so much. In pictures, they tend to look brown, unless the light is hitting them a certain way. When it does, they look more green. Sometimes, there are flecks of gold and brown mixed in there, too. My youngest has them now. :) My aunt had them. They're from the maternal side of my family tree.
EYEFORGOT 05-14-06, 11:34 PM I once had my eyes looked at by an...___________. A person who looks into the coloration or specks/marks of your eyes and can tell where in your body you have or have had health issues.
She said green eyes aren't really green, but they are blue with a lot of indicators of health issues, often excess candida. I don't know how accurate this is but it's interesting. A black spot at the corner of a certain part of the eye could indicate a problem with your lungs, or certain lines in a different section indicate a problem with your liver, etc etc.
Anyone else look into this?
runinl8 05-15-06, 03:02 PM My eyes are Hazel on my D.L. They are actually a Bluish-gray and green. Even if I do say so myself, they are very pretty. People think my contacts are colored. Not so.
DimensionX 05-15-06, 03:16 PM My eyes are brown,
hey andrew, where are u going with this just out of pure curiosity cause i concidered making a thread like this for a number of reasons
EYEFORGOT 05-15-06, 06:17 PM It's an old thread...take it where you like it. (excuse me while I speak for him but he's used to me butting in :P )
DimensionX 05-15-06, 06:26 PM ooooooh, didn't realise
EYEFORGOT 05-15-06, 08:22 PM So where were you going with the question?
Uminchu 05-15-06, 10:44 PM Mine eyes are blue. Kind of grayish blue I guess.
What's kind of interesting is that here in Japan, where I live, driver's licenses do not include a description of hair or eye color. This is because it is assumed that everyone will have brown eyes and black hair.
Actually though, nowadays almost nobody in Japan seems to have black hair... It's mostly various shades of bleached. :)
meadd823 05-15-06, 10:58 PM The parts of my irises that are close to the pupil are a light brown, however the outer half are grass green. One of my daughters has blue next to her irises and green outer area she also has one eye (her right) with a small brown part. It must be a recessive gene, as our eye color begins as blue but changes gradually until just before puberty! Only those of us who have two colors change after six months of age, while every one else’s eyes do not change after two or three months of age!
chris1585 05-17-06, 09:58 PM I had an aunt named hazel
*edit* don't know why i chose to disclose this
~don't it make my brown eyes blue~
ME :p
prettyblonde 05-17-06, 11:42 PM I think my eyes are greenish blue but everyone else says they're bright blue...I get asked weekly if I have colored contacts. Sometimes I wonder what else people see about me that I don't...
roly poly 05-18-06, 12:29 AM I've been told by many that my eyes are a beautiful blue.:)

I don't know how much truth there is to this but I thought it was interesting...
Eye color is mainly a function of the pigment melanin. If your eyes have a lot of it, they're brown. If they don't, they're blue. (Some details of this explanation are in dispute, but don't worry about that now.) Green eyes result from yellowish flecks of fatty pigment against a dark background. Some men think a green-eyed woman is exotic. The truth is she's got fat eyes.
This came from a place called "Cecil's sotrehouse of human knowledge" I don't even know really how I came across it.
meadd823 05-20-06, 02:07 AM The truth is she's got fat eyes.
I have some green in my eyes if they are fat how come none of the rest of me has a lot of fat?
*~ §EEK ~* 05-20-06, 03:21 PM Right now, my eyes are more red than anything else. Its amazing they can't figure out what I'm allergic to!
I hear ya Andrew!!!! Went to an allergy Doc and got tested. Told me I had "Nonspecific Rhianitis"! I said "What's that exactly?" He said ""Your definately allergic to something, we just don't know what!"... That was really helpful!
Anyway, I have blue eyes!

mejasha 06-02-06, 07:34 PM One eye is Blue and my other eye is green......I was born a fereak :D
My youngest son has one blue eye and one eye that is half green and half brown.:eyebrow: Talk about freaky. No, but really, what do you put on your drivers licence. My son is only six so he has a while before he has to worry about that.:)
Does anyone know what causes that? Though I actually am afraid to ask after I read that my green eyes are fat. :( Then again, mine do change colors. Does that mean that when I where that certain color of shirt, that my eyes are less fat?
Oh well, I like my eyes just the way they are. They have a really dark line around the color so people used to say I had cat eyes.
I just realized that I have fat cat eyes.:D
Technically, none of the above. My eyes change colors depending on how I'm feeling/what I'm wearing O_O
Blue= Neutral
Green= Happy
Gray= Bored

They range from Gold to golden green to golden brown. It's wierd... Nobody else in my family has eyes like that. My mom and brother have eyes that are so dark brown it's like espresso. My dad has blue eyes. Maybe it's the whole Caucasian/Asian mix. :p
sehrita 06-27-06, 04:22 AM One of my eyes is greener than the other one which is more brown. People trip on me haveing two different eye colors.

At Heart 06-03-07, 12:10 AM I am as brown as they get - my mom always told me that was because I was full of it.
Mine change from a brown, to a hazel, but the pattren in my eyes makes it allmost look like I have black spots in them, those spots seem to open, and shut at times, so that can also vary
acceptance 06-03-07, 12:38 AM My eyes are hazel although green dominates it mostly, sometimes they go deep green.
FightingBoredom 06-03-07, 12:41 PM So, out of 95 voters we can conclude one of two things:
1. Either ADD is predominate in people with blue eyes
OR
2. More ADD people with blue eyes tend to respond to poll's. :D
Blue 34; 35.79%
Hazel 22; 23.16%
Brown 20; 21.05%
Green 13; 13.68%
None of the Above (please describe below) 6 6.32%
Hazel here. Little green in the folds, so depending on how dilated or contracted my pupils are, they'll be more or less green. I've got the dark outline around the iris, too. I love how my eyes look. Now, if only they could actually SEE right, they'd be perfect. Heh.
babypin 06-04-07, 10:59 AM I have dark green eyes.
My dad had a little bit more brown in his, but apart from the color I have my dad's eyes down to the dot. The green eyes are what I like the most about my appearance.
Blue...but they change shades and sometimes go greenish
