I have been on Ritalin for about 3 months, I am on 15 mg 3 times a day .I am all so coming of cymbalta ,I was on 60 mg a day ,I am now on 20 mg every 2 days and tomorrow is the last day I am planning to take it ,so I am not to sure which med this question relates too .
Anyway, I have noticed that I am not as alert as I was, in my mind I am drifting off more than I was, I am fogging up more, But is this due to me coming of cymbalta (withdrawl) or is the dose of Ritalin not sufficient? .I see my Dr in January but I find it hard not to seek the approval of others as I come from a dysfunctional family and as a result I always want to tell him good news . You're coming off another drug, so i'd wait at least a few weeks before you give up ritalin. is it generic or brand name ritalin? some people say they can work abit differently.

Ritalin and Cymbalta are both norepinephrine rebuke inhibitors, therefore, they've been working together to treat your ADD.

In short, when the Cymbalta is out of your system, you will need to increase your Ritalin dosage.

I just wanted to say that I am going back on 60mg of cymbalta .I am finding that my anxiety is getting very bad again ,so I will talk to my dr in january .It was just that I had some side effects from cymbalta ,but I would rather have those and be able to function well ,than the alternative ...Deepestblue
