my 7 year went to the doc today and the prescribed 10mg of Ritalin SR. What should I watch for. Any input is appreciated

just be careful with the sr ritalin my son was on it for 3 yrs and it just stopped working they put him up to 80mg a day and his heart was affected thought he was having a heart attach or something, he has been on the reg ritalin for 5 yrs at half the dose and it works better his grades improved dramatically...he is a teen now and needs different meds.

each person will react a little differently to medication. Just take things slowly, and make sure you communicate with your child's doctor about any symptoms or side effects :)
