Wow! Today is a really off day for me + meds! :o
I showed up at the VA thinking I have an appointment today... nope it's tomorrow and my dayplanner and the appointment card both say tomorrow.
I wrote a post this morning, and just re-read it and noticed I missed a bracket [ so the quote isn't highlighted.
I forgot my cell phone at home.
I forgot to eat breakfast. My stomach is telling me "what for" right now.:(
I have a feeling there are more ditzy things I've done, but haven't noticed yet.

Is this something that may happen sometimes, even if I'm taking my Ritalin regularly? Any thoughts?

Hi. I'm sorry to hear you're having a bad day.

I also have days like this even with my meds. So don't feel bad.

The meds don't make our add go away, it just helps it!;)

Anyway, I hope your day gets better.

:) oh I understand!
perhaps you're getting tired, I've noticed my worse days happen when I haven't gotten quite enough sleep over several days.

Yep it certainly can happen if your medicated. I'll testify to that. As the saying goes "pills are not skills". Sounds like you need to modify existing habits and start new ones.

Here's a tip if you have a computer at home. (One should never assume that. Some of our fellow ADDers on this site are undoubtedly using the public library to check in...) Use an application like Outlook or use an online calendar as I do.

Google's Calendar has this nifty feature: it will send you -- via Gmail -- daily a list of all of your scheduled events for the day. Here's a link to tell you how:

3 quick Google Calendar productivity tips (http://www.online-tech-tips.com/google-softwaretips/google-calendar-productivity-tips/)

This works for me because one of the first things I do when I start my day -- while drinking my morning coffee -- is to check my e-mail...

Try having a super high tolerance to coffee, and forgetting to have the coffee that morning.

Hey there, I have my off days too. Everyone does but for some reason us ADD people tend to have worse off days than others. Sometimes its just the weather, or hormones. All I can do is laugh at it and try not to fret or let it ruin what I have left for the rest of the day. I know eating something helps, my inattentive symptoms get really bad when I'm hungry. Now I'm just trying to learn how to plan ahead, so I don't get caught short.
