I'm supposed to be taking 100mg once a day, then--after 10 days--200 mg once a day.

I was given generic Wellbutrin SR. But if I'm only taking it once a day, isn't that generally Wellbutrin XL? I had a talk with my doctor about how I was taking the type I only need to take once early in the morning.

If I'm only taking Wellbutrin SR once a day, won't that sort of mess with me? If it only lasts 8 hours at a time?

How can I check to make sure everything is right? I got this almost a week ago. What do I do if I was given the wrong prescription?

Most of the time, for titration purposes, people start out taking 100mg or 150mg once a day... So the fact that you are starting at once a day is not weird. It's what the prescribing information recommends.

However, I think most folks move to take either 100mg or 150mg twice a day... So I would inquire into what you are supposed to be doing after your initial days of dosage.

Of course, your doctor may have a reason for this.

I'm just going to call my doctor and leave a voicemail to check with her. Hopefully, she won't be offended.
